1. What is OnTripp.com?

OnTripp.com is an online marketplace to discover and book tours & activities to do in African countries. We aim to connect thousands of active local and inbound travelers with tour operators/guides across African countries, given them a chance to experience Africa at its fullest.

  1. Where is OnTripp.com located?

Our HQ is in Lagos, Nigeria. Our customers are tourist from all over the world, so we are virtually everywhere.

  1. OnTripp country coverage?

We are currently available in Nigeria only, but we welcome tourist from anywhere to book with us.

  1. What type of tours & activities are available?

Listed tours are either fixed-date and non-fixed date packages only. All tours are associated with tourist locations in Africa only, tours to countries outside Africa aren’t allowed, with exceptions.

  • Fixed-date – a tour that can either be single day or multiple day, that has a fixed date and cannot be booked at any time other than the specified date.
  • Non-Fixed date – a tour that can either be single day or multiple day, that has no date and can be booked at any time.
  1. How do I book a tour/activity?
  • SEARCH – through our gallery of tours listed and organised by our tour partners. Use the filter and search category available to personalize.
  • BOOK – found your preference, proceed to book by filling all required details, after which you can proceed to pay.
  • PAY – Enter your credit/debit card details into the required field and click the pay button. After completing this, your booking details will be sent to you in an email. Your details will be sent to the organizer of the tour and they will be in contact with you afterwards.
  1. Who organizes these tours?

Tours & activities listed on our platform are not organized by the Ontripp.com team, but by our partners. We are only a marketplace that facilitates the booking.

  1. Who are these Partners?

Partners are licensed tour operators/guides who have agreed to allow us help them sell their tours. Details of these partners can be found in the “Contact Tour Operators” section of the listed tour.

  1. Will I be contacted by my tour guide?

Yes. Your tour guide will contact you with any additional details such as pickup point, passport details etc. once your booking has been completed. You can also take the first step by contacting them.

  1. Can I change/alter a booking that has already been confirmed?

We understand that plans may change sometimes. You may contact your tour guide via OnTripp.com at all times to change your booking, subject to time and availability. In case for changes to date or time, you may choose to offer an alternative time slot, or decline. Please keep in mind that some experiences may be governed by stricter cancellation policies.

  1. What is Ontripp.com Cancellation policy

All trip cancelled until 15days before commencement gets 75% refund. To cancel your trip, send an email to bookings@ontripp.com.

11. How can I pay for my booking? How does OnTripp.com process payments?

You can pay with your credit or debit card. Your payment is processed securely using industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools and we do not store your payment details.

  1. What if the host is late or does not show up?

We’ve got your back! If your host is a no show, we will refund you in full for the experience not provided. Kindly send an email support@ontripp.com letting us know what happened. Please be prompt! It is in the best interest of all parties if refund requests are submitted within 48 hours of the commencement of experience. We take tour guides reliability very seriously. Hosts who exhibit a pattern of cancelling or not showing up will be removed from the OnTripp.com site.

  1. What is OnTripp.com?

OnTripp.com is an online marketplace for finding and booking tours & activities to do in African countries. We aim to connect thousands of active local and inbound travelers with tour operators across African countries, given them a chance to experience Africa at its fullest.

  1. Who qualifies as a Partner?

We accept only tour operators/guides that are registered and have a license. All tour operators/guide must be based in Africa and their tour destination must be in/to African countries.

  1. Can I list more than one tour?

Yes, there is no limit for the number of tour & activities listed as long as they qualify. However, repeated listings with only slight difference are not allowed and if found in excess, your profile will be suspended until further notice.

  1. Do you charge anything for a listing?

No, OnTripp.com does not charge anything for listing of your tours & activities. It is an open market channel for you to share and promote your tours & activities.

  1. How much commission do you charge?

OnTripp.com will accept a fee from each successful sale of tour & activities. Our commission is 10%.

Note that OnTripp.com collects payment from travelers on your behalf, hence you will not be required to manage any cancellations or refunds personally. If a booking is cancelled, you will be notified

  1. What type of tours & activities can I list?

You currently accept only fixed-date and non-fixed date packages only. All tours must be associated with tourist locations in Africa only, tours to countries outside Africa aren’t allowed.

  1. How long does it take for my listing to be approved?

Once you complete filling in all details of your listing, the OnTripp.com team will review it and be in touch within 48 hours, either with approval or editing suggestions.

  1. How do I get notified of a new booking?

A WhatsApp/email message will be sent to you, once a booking of your listed tour had been made. We implore you to check regularly for notifications from us.

  1. How do I manage my bookings?

OnTripp.com does not at the moment help in this regard. We only sell your tours; you will solely be responsible for tracking the bookings. Our engineering team is working hard to automate this process for you. Kindly bear with us.

  1. How and when will I get paid?

OnTripp.com will arrange a bank transfer at the end of every week to your bank account which you supplied to us during registration.
